Kurinuki – “to carve out” – is a Japanese method of making vessels by hollowing and carving a single block of clay. Many people find this process to be pleasantly meditative, and it yields pieces with beautifully organic shapes and textures. We will also learn how to mix two different types of clay to create
marbled clay, which can be used for slab building, kurinuki, and more.

This allows us time to offer your spot to another person. We can move your enrollment to a future date or give you a refund if we receive ample notice. If we are given less than four (4) days notice, we can offer a 50% refund or credit (ie. 50% off a future booking).
