Trimming and other refining techniques are equally important parts of the process, and oftentimes these steps are what distinguish a beautifully crafted piece from one that’s just okay. We’ll cover how to throw with trimming in mind, various trimming methods, helpful tools, how to fix common mistakes, getting the glaze results you want, and how to start honing in on what elements make a piece of pottery “perfect” to you as an artist.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTo get the most out of this class, you should feel comfortable with all of the steps and processes you learned in the four week Beginning Wheel course, and can somewhat reliably wedge, center, and throw 2.5-3 lbs of clay.
