Welcome to our fun-filled and creative ceramic class for kids! Our class is designed to inspire your child's creativity while teaching them the basics of ceramics. This series is open to kids ages 8 and up. For more information on the projects and theme for each week - check out the "details" page.

Working with clay presents endless possibilities for learning and creative expression and is an exciting way for kids to get their hands dirty and explore different artistic techniques. Led by our kind, patient, and encouraging artist teachers, classes meet three times a week for two hours and will include a variety of activities and projects including hand building, wheel throwing, sgraffito, and more!

Classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am-12:00pm. You can enroll in one or more individual weeks for three classes meeting on M/W/F. Discounts are available for multiple weeks; see below.

• Week A: Wheel Exploration  - Week of June 19
• This week is all about the potter's wheel! Kids will get their hands dirty and learn all about making pottery on the wheel. Your child will learn how to mold, shape, and decorate clay to create their own unique ceramic pieces.

• Week B: Teens Wheel Week - Week of June 26
• This week is all about the potter's wheel! Teens will get their hands dirty and learn all about making pottery on the wheel. We provide a variety of tools and techniques to help your child bring their imagination to life.

• Week C: Clay Play! Under the Sea - July 5, 6, and 7 (no class on July 4)
• Campers will have the opportunity to make a series of ocean-inspired objects during this week. Kids will express themselves as they learn how to shape and decorate their unique aquatic creations.

• Week D: Wheel Exploration - Week of July 10
• This week is all about the potter's wheel! Kids will get their hands dirty and learn all about making pottery on the wheel. Your child will learn how to mold, shape, and decorate clay to create their own unique ceramic pieces.

• Week E: Clay Play! Sculpting Characters - Week of July 17
• Kids will make clay characters inspired by their favorite movies, books, or games to create their own universe in clay! During this week, kids will sculpt the Mario Bros, make their favorite Disney character come to life, or create their own superheroes as they decorate their pieces with underglaze.

• Week F: Handbuilding Exploration - Week of July 24

• This week we'll learn some fun handbuilding techniques and decorate our pieces with underglaze. Your child will learn how to mold, shape, and decorate clay to create their own unique ceramic pieces.

• Week G: Teens Wheel Week (Downtown LA)- Week of July 17

Cancellations made 4 or more days before the start of the class will be refunded. For cancellations made fewer than 4 full days, but more than 24 hours before the start time, a 50% refund or 50% credit toward another class or workshop will be issued. We cannot provide refunds or credits for cancellations or rescheduling requests made fewer than 24 hours before the start time of class, if you miss your class, or arrive too late to participate.
