New Year, New Everything
The dearest to our hearts are our new teachers and team members. We welcomed Renaissance woman Sharon Mann (that's her on the left) last fall as a teacher, and we are thrilled to announce that she's now our Director of Studio Experiences.
Luckily she'll continue to teach too, and you can take her Dinnerware course in February (this sold out last time, so sign up soon!). Members Emma Grosjean (center) and Trilby Gustafson (right) have also joined our teaching team; Emma (who's also a tap dancer!) teaches Beginning Wheel and Happy Hour classes Downtown, and Trilby (an avid road tripper and drove almost 100K miles in a single year!) will be teaching one hour classes in Santa Monica.
New cone 10 glazes!
We're keeping it fresh and revamping our cone 10 glaze wall in Santa Monica, and that also means adding a new color or two! Members, what glaze do you want to see us add to the palette in 2022?
What else members can expect in 2022:
Member Meetups at both studios! Be there on the first Sunday of the month at 1:00pm for a demo and discussion led by Claudia Solórzano Downtown and David Stone in SM. SM will be getting a spray booth -- no more glaze drips for you smooth operators. Arriving this week (we hope, #supplychainissues)!
Also:
March classes are open for enrollment, and so are several inspiring artist workshops! Sign up before they sell out! Stay safe out there!
If you haven't already, be sure to SIGN UP and become a Still Life Studio member! > SIGN UP
Looking forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
