Jewelry Making with Uma Supatra-Campbell

Regular price$200.00
/

Uma Supatra-Campbell has always been drawn to creating tiny things. She loves the way making miniatures requires total and complete focus. As she experimented with miniatures, she was drawn into the world of jewelry making. In this workshop you will learn how to make ceramic jewelry, through the hand building styles of slab and pinch. You will learn different techniques of creating surface textures, shapes, and textures - such as printing flowers and leaves into the clay, or hand carving designs. You will work with kiln safe wire and learn to construct jewelry to end the workshop with elegant, unique, wearable creations that you get to take home. Clay and firing are included and this workshop is beginner-friendly.
